drew Roberts has two novels (first drafts) written for NaNoWriMo in 2005 and 2006. They are available under a Creative Commons BY-SA license. (2.5 - or as marked. Ask if you need a different version.)
There are many novels (as well as other books) in the public domain. Several websites put them up in digital form, for everyone to enjoy.
