AbuseFilter Rules

User:Koavf and User:Mormegil: I managed to block myself twice trying to copy the text from this page in. Thanks for unbanning me, Koavf. ;)

For some reason, I can't quite see (maybe the archive.org URLs?) it's tripping this filter and will it ban anybody that tries to edit this page if we turn it back on. I think we need to tighten up that filter. It was also triggering this other filter. I've disabled both filters for now but once we fix them, we can totally reenable.

Thanks, both of you, for all the work you do on the wiki! —mako 03:35, 25 May 2020 (CEST)

I knew that it was an error when I saw this in my inbox. I'm fine with leaving off the filter for now. Thanks, Benjamin. Koavf (talk) 04:07, 25 May 2020 (CEST)
Yeah, sorry for the trouble. I knew the filter was too eager sometimes but it still stopped quite a powerful wave of support-phone spammers, so I left it on. Since it seems the wave has stopped, let’s keep the filter disabled; if the spamming comes up again, we’ll need to find a way to fix the filter. --Mormegil (talk) 14:20, 15 June 2020 (CEST)
